I had thought of starting these earlier but held off. Here are a few things to keep in mind when travelling. I hope you find them helpful.-
- You know you've been driving too long when you develop callouses on your hands.
- A car antenna can cause problems for a bat's echo-location.
- If your contact falls out in the woods, you can use Kool-aid to wet it and put it back in. Your eyes will tear a bit but at least the tears taste like Wildberry.
- Whipped Cream (un-whipped) doesn't travel well in a knapsack
- Going standby on the North Sydney - Port-aux-Basques is usually successful
- Rocks polished in streambeds can be slippery when dry
- Clearnet/Telus does not have cellular coverage in Newfoundland (except St. John's)
- You make better time with your car on the ground with the engine in it than you do with it on a garage's hoist with the engine beside it.
